Keeping Distance

I have noticed that my mare, Chika has been staying away from my other two horses lately. Like...all the way across the pasture. She is usually the one that is in the middle of everything and bossing everyone around. I don't know if it could be some kind of a health issue or just nothing. Has anyone else's horse ever done this? =\

The pecking order may have been changed. Is she depressed? Is she sick? If she's sick she might be trying to keep the other horses from getting sick. Do they hog all the food?
