Khoda is hurt

Ah, my poor boy has gotten himself an injury. I'm not sure whether he was scratching himself on a tree, or was rough housing with Rev or what... But he's eye is all swollen, leaking puss, and he looks... Well, he looks like he doesn't care but I say he looks miserable.

I feel so bad for him... Still waiting for phone call back from my vet. *sniffles and sigh*

LOL... I'm so sorry! My baby did that too, except he went to the extreme and peeled his eyelid inside out... I had to have it sewed back on... no scar though... well, teeny one!

poor baby... wow, and it is so much fun to put medicine in those eyes!

Oh, yeah.
I tried putting water in a syringe to help cool it off and clean out the puss and the look he gave me told me he'd rather run his other eye into a tree (or whatever) then have me continue.

Some days, the joys of horses make me wonder.... lol

ugh poor thing. my mare had injured her eye after her first foal was born. we are thinking either the filly bit her in the eye or kicked her and split her bottom eyelid open. it was gross. the vet came and sewed it back on for us, theres the tiniest scar, its just a teeeeeny chunk missing. i think the worst part of it all was i didnt have crossties to put her in and had to try to hold her up while she sewed her eye. well my mare takes VERRRRY well to TQ and was trying to fall down on me. shes a whole 1300lbs too...
