Knee brace

Ok so as some of you know Junior has knee problems and I use boots on him all the time and I stretch his legs alot now. I am just curious would a knee brace work for him? I saw it once or twice in a magazine and I really would like to buy it for him so he can enjoy riding more. I know he loves to run his little butt off when he gets the chance and I just wont let him do it every time. I think a knee brace might help his knees some so he don't have as many pains.

Sometimes it kills me to see him after he ran because he wanted to so bad and I let him and then his knees shake and he walks around but I know it probably hurts. He wont even let me pick out his front hooves sometimes I guess because he has to put weight on the other knee and it hurts. So I try to pick his feet as fast as I can and sometimes I even give him a little knee massage but I really wanna do more for him so he can enjoy more I know he loves to run and he doesn't always get to so I want him to be able to any advice?
