Question Leg injuries??

I have a horse who is a great mover. Though when she isn't being ridden or worked she is super clumsy and has had a few leg injuries because of it. She doesn't have any trouble at all when she is being worked so if anyone good give me sugestions as to why she would be clumsy when she's not being worked. That would be much appreaciated.

It could be a number of things. One thing I noticed with my gelding that when he was paddocked and unable to see the herd he was unable to properly sleep, causing him to stumble or trip (narcolepsy). However once he was turned out in a different paddock able to see his mate next to him this has stopped. Just a thought. Good luck.
