Life Data and Keratex

Has anyone ever used them? Did you like them or hate them? I am looking for something to help with my horses hooves. Thanks!

We used Farriers Formula for my first endurance horse. She didn't have bad feet, just softer and would wear down quickly. I only needed to use it for a year. Seemed to correct the chemical balance in her system and we were able to take her off it.

We use venice turpentine for a sole toughner.

The only way your horses feet are going to be truely healthy, is a farrier who knows how to cut your horses hooves in accordance to their pasturns, hips and shouder angles.

The key is proper blood flow. If your horses hooves are not being trimmed with the proper angles needed, then blood flow will be non existant, and that means no products on the market will assist.

Blood flow.

LOVE Keratex. Definitely recommend it.

I agree, Turpentine is great stuff too.

Another topical thing to put on would be Rain Maker. You just coat it on their feet and it helps them harden and prevents cracking in extreme weather. I don't know if you show... but it makes their feet look nice 'n shiny for shows, too!

I feel like my farrier is doing a good job with her hooves, on the other hand I only know what I have read and there are so many conflicting opinions that it has been hard for me to figure some stuff out :/ . If I put up some pictures of her hooves do you think you could tell if they were trimmed incorrectly? Thanks!

I got the Keratex and the farriers formula/life data :)

My farrier come out the other day but I missed him AGAIN! So I didn't get to talk to him :/ but he will be coming back out again this week because he told the BO that there wasn't anything there for him to work on. I got the keratex but it said after the first initial week of putting it on everyday to put it on once a week, should I put the rainmaker on the days I don't put the keratex on, or will that mess up what the keratex does? Thanks!
