Loose Stool

Why does my horse get loose stool, not necessarily runny like diarrhea (although it happens) while we are on rides. He drinks water, so i know he is not dehydrates. I dont know if he needs a probiotic. I used to have him on rice bran and beep pulp. Do you think the beet pulp will help? i honeslty cannot remember if he used to get runny when i first got him and had him on beet pulp.

Some horses just have "nervous poo's" when away from home, or sometimes, just being able to get out and move causes things inside to "move" as well.

As long as everything else stays normal, and he drinks plenty of water while riding, I wouldn't worry too much.
natisha likes this.

Live well, laugh often, love deeply...An' it harm none.
