So Lucy is home, and busy making friends with Wildey and Rummy. Her and Wildey look so alike!
Her feet were in a bad way. She had one shoe on a front foot that was grown out and loose, the others were long, and one of her backs had chipped on the side so it was really pointy.
Unfortunatley I don't have any proper before pictures. The first day I pulled the shoe and just used my nippers to take off the really ovegrown wall. She is lame in the back but I think it is either because of the chip or maybe an abcess hiding.
So today I set to work trimming them properly. I only thought to get before pictures after I already did one front, lol.
They don't look as bad because as I mentioned, I nipped most of the excess wall off yesterday.
I left this foot a little longer as I think it's the sore one. Could this chip be enough to make her lame?
She had a bit of seperation in her white line on one foot, I dug it out as much as I was game but didn't get it all.
I haven't been too aggressive as I have an advanced trimming clinic in a week, so will get a lot of help and guidance there.
Would welcome any critiques or opinions!
