Mare fell in pool

We have no idea how she did it, but somehow Pharist fell in the pool at the stables They got her out and she's fine now, but here's some photos of her injuries. Silly mare

Ouch. What kind of pool did she fall in? How did the pool fair during this swimming expedition?

oooo ouch say she cused some splash on landing though!! lucky there not serious! can i ask how did she get out? was she in long

For sure I would put a fence around any pool. Just to dangerous not to!

Spent a whole hour today laying in a pasture, waiting for a sparkling vampire to show up. Alas, I woke up and looked over, only to find a mound of horse crap. Sigh.

Good it wasn't a little kid. How come it could happen at all? Did she go loose? Or the stable is just dumb enough to build a pool on horse field?

They know about the pool, and generally avoid it. What happens is they are let out to graze in the garden, but I agree with the fence thing!!!

She was in for about 20 mins, and it was COLD, so it was touch and go for a bit. They had to get a rope round her and pull her out gently with the car
