Mare with lyme disease, when will she be back to normal?

My mare was diagnosed with Lyme disease so I decided to have the vet treat her with the IV. I just brought her home yesterday after 5 days of treatment, and she already seems to be doing better. Her sides are a little sunken in but I am thinking that its associated with the treatment. My vet said I could start doing light work with her in about a week but I never asked how long it would take before she is back to 100%.

Has anyone had a horse with Lyme that recovered and how long did it take for them to make a full recovery?
