We got a four year old filly about a month ago. She is a great little girl, but since the weekend I've noticed her urinateing a lot, more than she normally has. She was showing signs of possible heat when we got her and she didn't go this much. I don't think it isthat asshe doesn't show any other signs either.
There is one thing I am wondering. It's been a long time since I've had a pregnant mare, but also noticed her teats are very large. Don't know the history the guy we got her from had her a month so I don't know if she has been exposed or not. I feel she has either had a foal or in foal. She is not showing any other signs of pregnancy in fact to me she is a little under weight, but not skinny.
It is more her going so much that has me concerned. Example: we will walk out to the barn to feed she is going, she will go again just before we give feed and then a lot of times if she is done when we get ready to leave some times she does. Before it would one time in there maybe.
