Minitures/shetlands care costs etc

So if we ever sell our house and find one with land we might get a little companion for moo n freck for when 1 is out riding so they aren't on their own too much. I would quite like to get a rescue maybe or from an auction or where ever. Anywhoo, what care do they need, just feet, teeth and pre vac T, wormer and just what the ponies get really?

A good horse can never be a bad colour...

yes, there is really no difference between the larger horses and the minis, besides size. =) my neighbor has 2 minis, and they are to die for !! Soo cute!

And I bet your horses would love the companionship as well. =)

I think Misty will think she died and went to heaven! She'll be the happiest horse in the world.

I would just say to watch their weight as they are more prone to founder. A woman where I board has a mini and he's the cutest thing!
