Minitures/shetlands care costs etc

So if we ever sell our house and find one with land we might get a little companion for moo n freck for when 1 is out riding so they aren't on their own too much. I would quite like to get a rescue maybe or from an auction or where ever. Anywhoo, what care do they need, just feet, teeth and pre vac T, wormer and just what the ponies get really?

Yes, there is really no difference between the larger horses and the minis, besides size. =) my neighbor has 2 minis, and they are to die for !! Soo cute!

And I bet your horses would love the companionship as well. =)

I think Misty will think she died and went to heaven! She'll be the happiest horse in the world.

I would just say to watch their weight as they are more prone to founder. A woman where I board has a mini and he's the cutest thing!
