    He is sooo much better! Took him to the vet. Nothing wrong just a little down.

    Interesting - what, specifically, was the diagnosis that required pennicilan and de-worming for a cure?

    and only one shot? I need some of that 'one shot cure all or nothing stuff'.

    I'm glad the horse is better, no matter what his problem was.

    He needed de-wormed b/c it was time for it. It didnt have anything to do wtih the sickness. He wasn't holding his weight on very good for a QH and that is why I thought he was sick. He was down on my dads farm and my dad died a couple weeks ago and he wasn't getting fed properly so now he is with me and looking better already and feeling better.

    He was given the penicilan before I brought him to my house. My uncle gave it to him before I was able to get him off of my dads land. Not my choice for the penicilan...

    That's probably why we were confused - your post indicated that the horse was seen by a vet and the vet prescribed penicillin.

    So he was NOT seen by a vet? Or is your uncle the vet?

    If he wasnt sick then why did you or your freind post my horse is sick? Wormy and skinny isnt a sick horse. Do you have pictures of the horse in question my guess is there isnt any horse it called having fun on the forums.
