I just wanted to show off some pics of my baby Katie. To make a long story short she is a 20 year old mare that was starved and was knocking on deaths door when she came to us (vet said that in another week or 2 she would have been dead) To see her whole story

But here are some pics. It has been a long road to get here where she is and she still has a bit to go. I know God had it in his plans to bring this poor forgotten horse into our lives for a reason, she has taught my children so much about how some people treat their animals and has made my daughter so much more aware of the body condition of horses and good nutrition.
Feb 27 - This is with her winter coat on hiding how skinny she was
March 2 - had to shave off the winter coat after we found that she was covered in lice. Now you can see just how skinny she was under that winter fuzz.
