Narrow Chest -- Challenges?

Hey, I wasn't entirely certain of where to post this... but I have a question about the impacts that a conformationally narrow chest can have on a horse. I know that it's certainly not desirable, but how does it really affect a horse. What sort of challenges might it pose?

The reason I ask is because I am looking at potentially buying a mare whose conformation is relatively nice save for a relatively narrow chest. (She has a lovely temperament as well, which is worth a lot in itself.) If I did get her, my intention would be to train her in the lower levels of dressage and do some trail riding with her. Is there any way that a narrow chest could negatively impact what I might want to do with her?

One thing is to watch her walk/trot and make sure she isn't clipping herself. Observe her balance when turning on the haunches/front, andything that needs the horse to cross over both front and back legs.
Make sure that her feet are wearing evenly, and that her canon bones are pretty straight up and down, (not too base narrow).

What is she?

Thanks for the input. I have a few pictures of her... I don't want to post them on the public forum as I haven't consulted the owner, but perhaps I can share a few with you via email as a friend, tinyliny? The owner has said it would be fine to show pictures to trainers and such for a professional opinion. I consider you pretty "professional" ^_^

She's a half Andalusian, half Quarter Horse mare... I believe they call them Aztecas.
