    Need Advice - deworming George

The lady I got George from dewormed him approx a month ago. She dewormed him with "Zimectrim Gold and followed up three days later with Ivermevtrim." (copy and pasted from her email)

I'm considering worming him again because of the stress of being hauled here, plus all the new things/place/people/etc. I mentioned it to Beth (the woman who had George before me) and she said she thought it couldn't hurt because she said she also noticed him rubbing his tail the last couple days (before she brought him here). So she thinks I should go ahead and deworm him again.
What do you guys think ? Is it to soon ? And all I have right now is Ivermectin ... should I get something else since the last deworming he had was with Ivermectin ??

Also - I would appreciate any advice on a regular deworming rotational program.

Do you have a vet yet? I would see what your vet is recommending for your area. Many vets are now suggesting a fecal check system to determine what dewormers to use when because of an increased resistance to deworming medications.
