She's going on a course of bute that should stop her from being lame so that I can actually start working her again and get the weight off (I'm so excited about getting her back in to work! ). The vet also gave me the number of a good chiropractor so I can follow that up too.
This brings me to my next question for you great people:
Does anyone have any suggestions for a good structured routine that will help me get some wight off her and muscle her up? I want to start lunging her every morning for a least a little while, but I want a routine, as she has some confidence issues and routine seems to help with this. I also want to change it up a little so it isn't to boring for either of us. Adittionally i'd really like to do some excercises that will help build up the trust between us. Any thoughts? We've been advised to keep off roads and away from hills for a while so hacking isn't really an option.
