Need to gain weight

Since I bought my mare a few months back I have been trying to get her to gain weight. She was skinny when I got her and is still around the same weight now. Her teeth were floated so that's not it and she has been wormed. I switched her to Strategy- Professional Formula GX with some Amplify. Do you think this will help? Does anyone have anyother tricks or ideas to help with weight? She isn't skin and bones (I'd guess a body score 3).

3 isn't glaringly underweight so as long as she seems happy and healthy I wouldn't be too concerned about packing the pounds on too quickly.

What's her breed?
How old is she?
What's her workload like?
What kind of forage is she on and how much daily?
How much Strategy & Amplify are you feeding?

Grass and Hay are going to be your biggest weight gainers, IMO. Free choice is best if possible.

Adding extra calories into a meal is the easiest way. Rice bran, beet pulp and flax seed are a great option.

What's her breed? She is a paint
How old is she? 8
What's her workload like? Lately I have just been lightly riding about an hour 4 times a week. Not even enough to make her sweat.
What kind of forage is she on and how much daily? She is on 2 alfalfa mix and a flake of grass. Then Pasture from about noon till 6.
How much Strategy & Amplify are you feeding? She gets a coffee can morning and night of Strategy & a scoop of Amplify (the scoop that comes with it)

I've had very good luck with Empower.
