Thank you all so much! We got good news!!! :) It's a benign thyroid glioma. At this point it isn't large enough to affect her respiration or swallowing so we are doing the watch and see if it grows. She got a good precise baseline with the ultrasound so we will revisit it in a few months. If it does grow we will then discuss surgery to remove it. I can breathe a big sigh of relief now and I am going to go to dinner and have a few drinks with my girlfriends, yay!
That is AWESOME news!!!! I know that big sigh of relief! It doesn't matter if you've had them for 6 mos or 20 years, once you're attached, they're family. I treat mine just like my kids. My 17 yr old gelding I've had for 12 yrs coliced on me this week, thank goodness he is on the road to recovery!
