Thank you all so much! We got good news!!! :) It's a benign thyroid glioma. At this point it isn't large enough to affect her respiration or swallowing so we are doing the watch and see if it grows. She got a good precise baseline with the ultrasound so we will revisit it in a few months. If it does grow we will then discuss surgery to remove it. I can breathe a big sigh of relief now and I am going to go to dinner and have a few drinks with my girlfriends, yay!

That is AWESOME news!!!! I know that big sigh of relief! It doesn't matter if you've had them for 6 mos or 20 years, once you're attached, they're family. I treat mine just like my kids. My 17 yr old gelding I've had for 12 yrs coliced on me this week, thank goodness he is on the road to recovery!

Thank you & I will! It's a BIG group of us going (I think 23 so far) and all of us are moms that need a night out, it could be really entertaining!

So glad to hear you got good news, it's so stressful and scarey when one of our babies have a problem. Hope you enjoy your outing with the girls always nice to kick back with friends. Sending wishes and prayers for your mare for good health.
