I wish I could remember more bit this was quite a few years ago now ii do recall him being on a limited diet basic plain hay & just his salt & minerals . He had been fed & fitted as a show horse & was young so me didn't 't want exces weight or fed for growth. Wobblers is sen often in rapidly growing youngsters & longer necked . He wasn't a big colt but did have neck. That said that is more for congenital prone wobblers not traumatic I don't remember much about anti inflamatorries he was on, but know previcox was not a drug used then. At the rehab place they tried accupunture had different exercises for him which they gave me a program to do at home.they suggested the neck injections . My diagnosing vet wasn't keen on that but my old vet agreed to try . I research the surgery but the success rate , prolonged rehab & cost made it not an option.. Never did try chiro treatment as my vet was not big on that & manipulation done wrong could worsen things so not something I wanted to risk. Hoping Treatment , more knowledge & drugs are probably available to you now to treat your boy. will continue prayers for his recovery v

Hey Everyone!
Thank you painted pastures for your reply!
So, Tuck is still turned out for his rehab until Feb. I did contact UC Davis about having them do his re-evaluation for a second opinion. They are happy to see him now but if he is not getting worse they are not against having him wait for the next few months….So, now I am just going to see how he is this weekend.
