    If her discharge is still all white, not yellow or green that really doesn't speak to an infection. How old is the mare? Could those swellings be tooth bumps?

    She's 16... I would think we're well past the age for teeth, but I don't know much about equine dentistry either...

    She is 16, I would think that would be far past the age for more teeth. But then again I know very little about equine dentistry...only what the floater tells us when he comes out.
