Is it okay to ride day of shots

I was wondering if it is okay to ride your horses the day they receive vaccines? The Vet will be out Monday and I could ask but would like to make plans so do any of you know if it is alright?

Absolutely! It's the few days after which potentially cause issues. Some horses have zero reaction to the shots, some may be a little sensitive just in the area where the vaccine was given but still rideable, some will be completely lethargic and need to rest.

A normal workout is fine. It will actually help disperse the medication in the system and with some vaccinations - help prevent stiffness.

All 4 of mine got their shots yesterday as a matter of fact, and all but one was ridden the same afternoon. No issues at all and none are showing a reaction today either. Go for it. :)
