Oliver's Support (Get Better Soon) Thread

Please send positive thoughts, cross fingers, pray whatever it is you do, send them our way. My poor Oliver is sick again, I was told by my vet to get all the support I could cause this will be a long road to recovery.

We are waiting right now till Friday to see how is body responds to probiotics and vit.C

Most likely the vet will be out on Friday doing a blood draw and culture swap of his inderds. He was hit hard and fast this time after what we thought was him have two good weeks. He seemed to be on the mend and was doing wonderfully.

What we thought was pneumonia could be pluerpneumonia or could be something else but the best bet is pluerpneumonia with his symptoms and past diagnoses.

He is only 5 years old, was healthy when I got him 5 months ago.
I'm pretty sad and scared right now. I have no clue how I am supposed to foccus in my classes till I know what is going on.

I haven't read all of your threads to know what is going on but have been skimming a few. We have had outstanding luck with GraliC Garli+C - Equine Insect Control Supplements from SmartPak Equine

My gelding who is now six spent his three and four year old years with a cough and a snotty nose. He got a respiratory infection at the drop of a hat. He'd also had a couple of very unusual eye infections and pneumonia once. In addition to ordering GarliC I had an herbalist muscle test him for whatever it was that he was deficient in. He is as healthy as a horse now and has been herb-free since this spring with no issues.

Update!
Good news, he was started on Hilton Herbs Immune Booster, slight runny nose today not discharge! No caughing yesterday or so far today, seems to only show up when he is working.
