Pasture...?

I have, what is probably, a silly question...

We are going to be planting pastures for the first time, and while we've looked at pasture seed mixes, we were wondering if you could plant plain ol' bermuda. We are in central AZ where it gets pretty stinking hot during the summer and bermuda tends to hold up the best.

Bermuda if you have the climate to grow it is suppose to make good pasture grass but I dunno it doesn't do well in my area

Your local county extention office should be able to suggesta good pasture mix. If you don't find one, visit your local feed store - they should be able to advise you on what grows best in your area - and they are likely to even carry a good mix for what you need.
