Penelope crashes into gate

In case any one is interested this is the video I have of Penelope crashing into the gate. She is still recovering. It will be a long process. So far the reason she did it seems to be that everyone thinks she didn't see the gate. I don't know.

Oh my :O it seems she really didn't see it or was frightened of something.

Looks more to me she was either trying to avoid something or someone was in there trying to get her to do something or she got scared and attempted to jump the fence...

Yes, I think the thing she was trying to avoid was me.

That made my heart skip a beat. How serious were her injuries?

Horse saw gate, tried to jump it. Don't know what was scaring horse, or what wanted to get away from, but whatever this was in reaction to? Needs to be stopped.

Okay Im going to say it. I am not trying to be mean but if your horse is going all out in the ring and your pushing them something bad is going to happen. There was no control in that situation what so ever. Why were you at her? What were you doing to get her so upset she felt the need to escape the situation?

At least you understand that.

What uh... what were we all trying to accomplish here when you say "I was working her"? I cannot see you in the video, but I can hear someone. I can see her dart back and fourth in responce to someone. I wasn't there but it really looks like a panic stricken horse and the person with the whip should have noticed. She saw the gate, she just tried to jump it mid panic and failed. I'm not quite sure what you are hoping we have to say about this..

Sorry to hear that she suffered internal injury, I wish her a speedy recovery. Take it easy.
