Performance Horse Nurtition

I am looking into fitting a QH with very good bloodlines for halter, but stuggling to find a proper feeding and nurtition program to get him to peak condition and keep him there as well. Anyone with halter horse or even performance horses experience have any advice on a work out program and nurition program I could look into or even use?

Thank you.

Yearling
Grass and alfalfa hay, with a high quality concentrate appropriate for the desired weight, rice bran and/or flax, and a vitamin/mineral to balance it out.

The conditioning program is just as important.
