phlox and horses?

Wanting to plant tall phlox by my fence, but I'm not sure if they are poisonous or not. Does anyone know for sure.

I can't find anything conclusive on the net, it's being placed in the same category as black walnut which is toxic to horses. Your best bet is to call your vet and ask him/her, phone calls are free.

I planted them this week-end AWAY from my fence. You can never be safe enough. The net sometimes can be so wrong and mis-guided lol
