Placentitis

Just wondering other people's experiences with placentitis? I am treating my mare with regumate, antibiotics and anti inflamatories. She is due on dec 10th. She has a pinkish color discharge, which is becoming more frequent (daily). I guess I'd just like to know if anyone else's mare has had a pinkish discharge and how the births were? Cheers

My mare had it with the premie colt she gave us.
She was given to us and we had no idea till she dropped him

Thanks Janna, did your mare have much discharge? And how early was your colt born ?

I noticed some discharge and her bag filled up huge. Like not normal huge. The insides of her legs were swelled from her bag pushing so hard.
