Plea tech equine FA granules supplement

A friend of mine recommended that I feed this to my mare. They are an Amina acid supplement. The mare is an 8 year old QH. She is a bit overweight. Right now she gets pasture and grass hay. My friend said this would make her less hyper and give her a nice coat.
Just wondering if anyone else had used it and what the results were.
Mainly just want my mare to be a lot less hyper. I have the same story as many people. She a bit underweight when I got her now is fat and full of it.
