Please help I need advice

My 25-27 year old gelding has always had leg problems. But lately it seems worse. He stopped being ride able a few months ago. Now it seems to cause him a little pain to walk. He constantly trips on everything. I am worried about him and this winter. Is there anything I can do to help him and make the pain go away?

P.S. Its both of his back legs.

He may need something for pain which gets hard on the stomach, or a joint supplement. Best to let your vet decide.

Talk to your vet. Your horse may not be able to go through another hard winter.

Could be anything, most likely arthritis. Have the vet out to either discuss pain management options or euthanize him.
