Exclamation Please Help with Vaccinations!!

I'm moving my horse on Sunday to a new stable. The previous stable, which he has been at for about 3 years, did not believe in giving vaccinations to their horses. Now the new stable requires Distemper, tetanus, and virus flu shot. I have someone to administer them, I'm just wondering if these are compatible, if I can give them at the same time, and where to give them...?

I've also heard theres a 5-in-1 with all of these in them? Anyone know about this?

Thanks for any information/help!

Yes, ok to give.....but you need to get a good history on this horse and get your vet involved since you don't know much about vaccinating and are moving him and plan on showing. There are other core vaccinations that he should have and you need to work with your vet to plan out a vaccination program that fits your horse's specific "lifestyle".

There is no one-size-fits-all vaccination program for horses.

(more explanation on the other place you posted this question ;) )

ha, yes I read your other ones. Thank you for your help. The thing I was worrying about was having to delay moving him because the vaccinations could not be given all at once. We're having the vet come out. :)

No worries there. You can give them all at once...commonly done.
