Exclamation Please Need your advice on new horse and his nutrition

FIrst of all thank you for taking the time to read this! I recently got a new horse. We are not sure what breed he is but we are thinking a morgan arab cross. I was just wondering your thaughts on what I should suppliment him or even if I should. I was thinking of adding a all around good multivitamin supplement to his diet just to give him good nutrition. He is currently about 15-17 years of age and is a very easy keeper. The only problem is his hoofs are brittle and his mane is straggly and thin. He also has poor muscle tone which I want to build up and need advice in doing so. I do ground work with him 2x a week and switch it up with some basic work outs in the arena. 3x a week he trails and the other two are rest/play days and that includes fresh grazing for about 15 min. Of course this is if the weather permits. I just wanted to know your opinion on the supplements and what you think I should add if any to help with the issues above. He is currently on alfalfa/oat cubes and timothy hay 2x a day. DO you think that there are any "preventative" measures I should take and should I change his diet? I have only had him a month and already I see improvments in his coat but I wish I cold grow out a georgous mane and tail too....Please any advice would be great!!!!! Here are some photos of him please let me know what you think about him and his overall apperance!!!! THANKS!!! Oh and ps he is wet in this pic lol!!

First go with FREE choice hay ... make sure he has forage in front of his face 24/7

WOW Hawaii I have NO clue what feeds you have access too ... I would guess Purina if so go with Enrich32 for the multi vitamin
