After years of split, broken bones, bruised beloved favorites, unsanitary flooring & other failures we got a spray-lining coating on the floor.
I posted also under Concrete Non-Slip Options now kids advised to start new thread to get the word out. I don't advise unless solicited but this flooring material has become more of a life saver than anything sanitary. (That's why we started with it). The bottom line is used an applicator of polyurea, which is a flexible, rubbery but strong strong strong coating to slip proof a few stalls & some walkways. That was over 14 years ago. Everyone who sees the barns now asks, "whats that there?" or, "is that Rhino bedliner?" I uploaded a closeup to get the picture. We breed, raise, sell & just fall in love with some. All stalls are concrete, all holding areas, ramps, etc are now coated with this thick, soft lining that rinses clean fast. Polyurea, which we learned then, in 2002 to apply ourselves resolved all slipping, sanitary & maintenance issues. That's the stuff which automotive / truck body shops (usually) that are Line-X or Rhino Linings dealers spray on to pickup truck beds. It's known as "spray-on bedliner" but its actually polyurea. We get ours for under $1 / sq ft from place called Spray-Lining & Coatings at Spray Bedliner - Trucks Floors Boats Trailers; Nationwide Dealers and DIY Kits but you can get other brands at Rhino or Line-X or SPI (Specialty Products, Inc) or Arma Coatings also. Best way, much cheaper is to follow instructions and DIY it. The pros are too expensive. One photo is in the dairy. Sanitary! We hope to help.
