Personaly I don't think they are worth the time taken for them.

Every pony I have owned has failed its flexion tests and not one of them has ever had any lameness issues and i've owned some of these ponies for 20 years.

If your vet is good at them they can be very useful. Also keep in mind that the first 3 steps are disregarded. This is because its just like sitting on your leg, you're going to get up a take a couple funny steps before you walk fine.

If you look hard enough you will find something wrong with every horse, I wouldnt automatically rule them out just because they didnt flex 100% depending what it is.
