I'm so sorry, Kay. That's great news that he's improving!

Here's how Henny is rigged up currently. I couldn't post it last night as all I had was my phone. He was still his silly little self last night. He was talking to the other horses there the entire time. He always gets so excited when other horses are around, he loves it. He was falling asleep in the chute, poor boy. He stood so well for the clippers(which he's never dealt with before) all the poking and prodding, and all the shots and catheter. When he was put in his stall, he went to ripping into the hay bag like the chunky monkey he is.

Oh my goodness how sad. I also said a prayer for his healing. Do you know what happened to start out with (did I miss that?) Did he fall or something? He is so cute, even with his neck all wrapped up to protect the IV. Looks like he is in a good place for healing now. Keep us updated.

There's a mama and 16 month old filly in the field with my 3 boys. The filly is still nursing and has never been aroun other horses besides her dam. She is rude, disrespectful, and completely destructive. We believe she kicked him in the head, seeing as how she's kicked boards out of the stall, kicked holes in the stall, and even kicked one of the kids.

Right now I'm just waiting for the vet to call back. He had to go out to an emergency and will call me back whenever he's finished up there. His clinic is literally in his garage, so he has to be there for us to go out there.
