Pregnant?

Sahara rae is 27 we rescued her about 6 months ago.
But about 2 months ago I thought she was pregnant but I thought it was no biggy. But the 2 months ago when I measured her as 58in and now I measured her at 79in. She has milk and milk veins. Anything?

A vet. People cannot tell from a description, or even pictures.

If you think it's an infection you NEED, absolutely NEED to get the vet out to actually inspect her. You cannot wait. If she's pregnant you need to know so you're able to feed her correctly, get her shots, and prepare for a foal...including 'child' proofing your pasture/barn/lean to/whatever you've got!

What vet would say that? If you called a vet, why didn't he/she come out and examine the mare? That's the only sure way to tell if she's pregnant.

At 27 y/o she could very well have a uterine infection and be retaining fluids. In any case, this mare needs to see a vet. Not next week, not in 2 months, NOW.

Just like has been said. PLEASE stop posting and CALL THE VET. Yes, there are things that could be going on, but noone can diagnose anything over the computer. And this time, please call one that will actually come LOOK at her. Even the best vets cannot diagnose over the phone.
