cold hosing in winter isnt going to hurt them I always cold hosed my race horses in the winter. But if you feel that a liniment is better choice then I would say try mixture of bigeoil with 70% alcohol. I found this mixture to work awsome when I used it on the jumpers as well as the race horses.and my vet said the mixture is wonderful for the onset of arthritis.

I recently invested in some ColdFlex wraps and LOVE them! I throw them on JJ right after we get done running I keep them on while I untack and brush him down then may go for a short little walk around the place. They work great and really cool the leg down nice.

Conformation is how far the horse CAN go,
Mind is how far the horse WILL go,
Training is how far it DOES go.
