Question Purina #300-Grow Question

I was looking at some of the mare and foal feeds and came across Purina Grow. Has anyone ever used that grain? I thought about trying it out for the next time we breed our mare. Any suggestions? Our horses get a little grumpy with Sweet Feed.

300 is a sweet feed so it wouldn't work for you. Are you looking for a feed for nutrients, calories or both? Pregnacy or lactation? I'd look into ration balancers and pelleted or extruded feeds.

Is the product you are referring to Omolene 300 Growth? If so then yes, that is a sweet feed and an alternative for that would be Strategy. It is a pelleted feed that works very well for mares & foals.
