    Putting Labre down this friday.

    So i've decided to put my horse Labre down this friday. She was my first horse and she taught me so much.

    The seizures she's been having are just making her condition worse, is putting herself in a bad position for getting hurt and my other horse. I hate to see her suffering like this. The vet said it's possibly a tumor in her brain but they said, and I agree that she is too old to try to save. Not saying she isn't worth it because if I had a million dollars I would in a heartbeat but she's 20+ and isn't aging well.

    I'm really sorry, that must be really hard for you. Just remember where she's going and let that comfort you. I've never had any animal that I was close to put down, so I don't know what it feels like. But in the condition that you stated, I bet it's better to put her down, no more pain. Once again, I'm really sorry :'(

    Thanks everyone, I wish this upon nobody D;

    I don't know what my other horse is going to do because he needs a buddy, I don't know what i'm going to do because I'm so use to feeding, brushing and doing everything in pairs.

    I'm so sorry. What an awful choice to have to make. As Berkely said, I'm impressed with your decision to do what is best for your girl. Best Wishes.
