AKPaintLover, I agee completely. I know when I had the tb I had to keep a can of static guard to spray down her blanket since everytime I removed it the static was unbelievable. It had to be bothering her. My husband and I were just discussing the need to keep hay readily available during severe cold temps. I think that is the main thing, keep them chewing. We add alfalfa cubes to the diet during really cold weather too.
