question and intro

Hi Everyone! I'm 21 years old and live in New Mexico. I rode horses when I was younger, I us to barrel race, and ride steer. I just currently bought my first horse Today! She is a 10 year old Thoroughbred. She us to be a racer but they ended up getting a younger horse and retired her. When I saw her I fell in love instantly and when I rode her I felt so comfortable and the trust was already there! She's a little thin so now that I purchased her I'm planning on getting some weight on her. She hasnt been ridden for over 5 months but she did great! Anyways I hope you enjoy here is a few pictures. QUESTION! IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD GIVE HER TO HELP HER WITH HER WEIGHT GAIN? WHAT DO YOU THINK?

What's her diet been & what are you feeding her now? Extra grass/hay would be my first thought. Have her teeth been seen to recently? Has she been effectively wormed?

Well im actually going to be keeping her at the place I bought her from he does boarding also. He's been feeding her alfalfa im pretty sure he said that. And she is getting wormed tomorrow because his vet will be back in town :) her teeth are fine. He was showing them to me today.

Alfalfa and what else? That would be pretty imbalanced if it's her sole diet. Does she get grazing/hay? How much?
