I don't feed them a lot of grain... I feed them mostly hay. They get between 8 flakes and a bail during the day, each. Plus they graze for about 12 hours a day. Unfortunately I don't have a whole lot of grass for them to graze on anymore. Come spring it'll be much more plentiful. I still would like to figure out a specific diet, where I actually account for every single thing that they take in. I have been feeding them the same thing for so long, that I don't even remember my reasoning for starting the eating plan I have.

They are all so different and have very different needs. I have a senior who is underweight, a young stallion that's underweight, a growing Percheron, a verrrrry easy keeper Paint that's 10, and a handsome big boned QH who needs about 50-100 lbs more weight, but still looks great.
I admit that maybe what I am feeding them now isn't the best, that's why I am asking questions and hoping to get everyone on a diet that directly reflects their individual needs.
