questions about treating strained/bowed tendons

My horse has swelling and heat in his suspensory tendon but no pain or lamness how do yall treat this liniment dmso wraps ??? Any help is great Thanks

Only a vet can accurately diagnose what is wrong, but the goal is usually to make the heat go away. Cold hosing or icing the leg for 15 minutes twice a day is probably the place to start.

He is sore in his suspensory tendon theres not hardly any heat anymore but he was shod reccently like normal every 7 weeks and the tendon is tighter than the other leg no pain or limp or not even any thing when I touch it its just differnt
