Quick Question

Okay I know I have asked a lot of questions but I'm a first time owner so I have the right to treat my baby as if she is made of glass! Lol

Today my mare got her teeth floated. (first time since I have owned her) She was given a shot to sedate her and she was fine. Just nice and loopy! Lol Anyway after about an hour I saw her in her stall sweating a lot. I mean like dripping with beads of sweat coming from her forehead. It wasn't from the heat it was a cold sweat.

My question is is this normal for a horse to sweat that much after being sedated or having there teeth done?

I don't have an answer for you. But I would try calling the vet/whoever gave the sedative and ask them.
