Rambo Original Turnout Blankets

http://www.doversaddlery.com/rambo-o...ket/p/X1-5467/

Are they any good?
Durability? Warmth? Quality? Fit?

Thanks :)

To be honest, for that price.. I'd want to find something with a higher denier. But, from my understanding, Rambos are quality blankets.. you'd just want one with 1200 Denier at least, especially if your horse is turned out with others.

Forever loved, never forgotten; my beautiful Indie. <3 Hoofprints on my heart.

Weatherbeeta, in my opinion are the best.
We have lots of destructive horses out in the fields, and they can't break those blankets.

I love the Rambos, Stan had 3 Rambo's that lasted 15years!
Reeco's turnouts are all rambo's and he has never yet managed to damage one.

I have one weatherbeta and it leaks like a seive. I hate it.

I am a massive Rambo fan. Love them.

I bought one from someone on this board for less than half that price. She still has some listed for sale.

Thanks for the reviews guys:) I think i'm going to get one I''m just not sure if I should get medium or heavy weight. I live in central maine and my guy is out almost all day (7am-5pm) in a 20 acre field with not much wind cover besides a shed which they almost never go in (no trees). What weight would you reccomend?

what temp does it get to at night there?

Stan lived in his Rambo in winter, They are so breathable and comfy that I left it on at night in the stable as well as during the day

I LOVE Rambos!

Don't leave it folded over the stall door though... my BO did that and came back the next morning to find my horse had turned her Rambo into itty, bitty shreds! Even with a very young, very destructive horse turned out with her, it never got so much as a run or shred until that... my BO replaced it.

Depends on the horse Delfina, I leave rugs folded over a rail in my stables everynight and my horses have never touched one
