Rapid Weight Loss

Over the last month my mom and I have noticed Blue's weight has declined. Blue has been off riding for a little over a year now and got a little too over weight. We started exercising him more but with a very limited space to do that in we couldn't do it a whole lot. Now he is starting to become thin but his appetite hasn't decreased. He has actually been eating more because of the new spring grass. He is UTD on all shots and deworming. I am not sure what is going on because he has been on the same diet for years even when he was training and showing! He was a healthy weight all winter!

Get him checked for IR/Cushings. If he's eating well but still losing weight, either he's burning more calories than he's taking in or he has a metabolic issue that needs to be addressed. Spring grass is full of sugars, which will aggravate his system if there's something wrong metabolically.
