It's been so rainy this Spring that the corral they spend half their day in is caked in mud and muck no matter how well we keep on top of it (their stalls are dry, but we keep the doors open so they can walk around). Their hooves are caked in mud and muck even if we clean them daily.
What are your recommendations for treating and preventing future issues with thrush? Best drying agent, etc?
Biggest issue is that the bigger QH, Zonie, is very difficult to work with when it comes to his feet (he's a rescue and his feet were in awful condition, he was abused, etc etc).
Thank GOD our neighbor's a farrier.
