Default Rescue Info

So I know that sometimes I'm on here quite regularly and other times I disappear for days on end, so I wanted to share with you where I go and what I do - with the help of some amazing people.

Ever After Hallelujah A Rescue Story | The Arabian Rescue Mission at TLC Stables

Right now we are working on pulling 3 more horses from the kill pens at New Holland Livestock Auction that are slated to go to slaughter by the end of the weekend. I posted a thread in Horse Protection with more information, and also posted about tack we're selling to help raise money in the Tack for Sale section.

I'm glad to share this with you - it was a very very hard weekend and weeks since we've been back with this filly. She's doing much better, putting on weight, and making friends. In the meantime our focus is on pulling a few more if we can. Mostly, I just wanted to share where I disappear to from time to time....

Thanks - for listening - and for letting me post when I do get back. I really do enjoy this horse community. :)

Good luck with the rescue thing, I hope the weekend goes well.

The only real regret in life that I have is that I can't save them all, we have many healthy horses in hungary that go for slaughter, I have limited funds and limited acerage - even worse horse rescue over here is almost unheard of.

I hope that the good that you do outweights the bad that you see.
Having rescued a few myself I know how bad things can get, I also know the rewards.

I really do wish you well and I don't know how you keep your spirits up when there is so much that cannot be done.

Amen to you sister and all that are doing the same thing!!! I really envy you and have such pride and joy for what you do. I only have one OTTB but I do foster dogs (big mostly) and retrain them and adopt them out. So GOD BLESS YOU AND THE GREAT WORK YOU DO THAT COMES WITH NO MONETARY AWARDS ONLY THE KNOWING THAT YOU ARE A GREAT FORCE IN THIS WORLD!!!
I wish only the best and greatest awards that god can give to someone willing to give themselves to gods creatures!!!
