    Rezzi has an ABCESS!

Well tonight my mom got a phone call from the barn owner saying that she was limping and she wouldn't put ANY pressure on her back left hind leg. My mother and I rushed down to the barn and we called the vet immediately.
She came out and she picked out her hooves and grinded them and found a tiny tiny tiny little black dot. She knew that that was the abcess so she picked it out and all the gooey stuff drained.
We just have to take care of her SO much, which I have no problem doing.

I am just RELIEVED that is nothing too serious and it CAN be cured let's just hope that she's not on stall rest too long.

    TB + stall rest = TROUBLE! :)

If anyone has had any experience with abcesses, i'd love to hear stories

    UPDATE: 6/8/08-
I went to the barn yesterday and we soaked her foot and re-wrapped her foot and all that fun stuff. Then I let her graze a little bit.

She is putting weight on the abcessed leg and looks SOOO much better
