Ribs Outta Place and Other Issues...?

Ok, so Jay has been lame for going on 9ish weeks and we don't know why. He has had an ultrasound and is going back to the vet tomorrow... We thought it was a hematoma, so it healed, and I rode him walk-trot TWICE before being lame again. We wondered if it could have something to do with a rib popping out of place, as a former owner mentioned because of girth tightening on the left side. That is the side he has been limping on, so... What do you guys think?
