I have a 5 year old Spotted Saddle mare who seems to enjoy trail riding.
She has normal poop in the pasture and stall, but when we load her in the trailer she has cow patties. On the trail she has lots of BM's and they are always very very loose!
She is a VERY easy keeper, she has been wormed regularly, she is fat and slick and has a shiny coat. She does not seems nervous or excited when we load or ride her.
I have given her a round of probiotics and that didn't make any difference.
She Loves to be lead horse and always seems to enjoy looking around the next curve in the trail. She does not act antsy or nervous in any way..
My question... do I need to worry about the loose poop??? She only seems to do this during trailering and trail riding. Oh... she DRINKS very good at every water crossing we come to, I never worry about dehydration on her!!
